Action Comics Number One, featuring Superman was released in June of 1938 and sold for 10 cents. Yesterday, in a private internet auction sale, a copy of the comic in Very Fine condition sold for a whopping one million dollars! While growing up I was a huge comic book freak and collector. Loved super heroes. I particularly liked Marvel because they had the cooler cats on their side. DC’s heroes were always a little bit lame to me. Read the full story

If you’re one who digs skillful, yet brutally nasty fights, over the top intense chase scenes, and shit blowing up absolutely everywhere, well there’s a damned good chance you’ll enjoy the hell out of the newest Batman saga, entitled the Dark Knight. Christopher Nolan has co-written and directed his second flick in the series after spearheading the Caped Crusader’s cinematic comeback in Batman Begins.
