He cried as he announced his retirement... "AW! HE LOVES US! WE LOVE YOU TOO, BRETT!" Our hearts swelled with pride as this simple man who was a QB GOD punctuated his loyal career with such an unabashed display of emotion... And then he stabbed us in the back. He could be bought. It wasn't about coming back because he missed football because he refused to play for Green Bay. He came back because he wanted to play for "a winning team". It doesn't matter to us WHO picked him up; Wisconsin doesn't put the blame on the team who got him, we blame no one but Brett. The Pack didn't even get to the playoffs this year, but that's OK because we did really well with a young team... a young, honest, and LOYAL team. That means as much to us as winning the Big One.
