By the way Tommy, when do we see the picks from you for the next round? I say Canes in 7, and Blackhawks in 6 (probably wishful thinking).

Great round, the only problem is I have no one left to root for. I guess I will root for the Blackhawks, as at least I don’t dislike them. ANYONE but the Wings is really my mantra at this point. Not that I expect it to happen, but one can hope.
You really gotta feel for the fans in the Hub last night. I grew up around Boston, I understand how strongly they support their sports teams. Except for the Sharks, you don’t see that for any sports teams in the Bay Area.

I picked the Red Wings in 6 and they won in 7.

If the the Bruins and Red Wings win, I’ll hit all four series winners.

Based upon what I’ve seen, Ducks – Red Wings winner has to be the favorite to win it all. The last two Cup winners have looked tough as nails. Blackhawks are young and fast, but they’ve played Calgary and Vancouver. If the Ducks win, they’d have knocked off #1 San Jose and #2 Detroit — far superior teams, and if the Red Wings win, I like their chances against the Blackhawks, not to mention the decent start times. This 10-10:30pm west coast start times just flat out, blows chunks.

Pens look determined to get back to the finals.

Game 7’s….as Red Wings TV color commentator Mickey Redmond says, “This is no place for a nervous person!!!”
