Ah, the roadlizard too was a Marvel freakazoid. I remember not being able to wait until the candy shop or the corner store got their comic book shipment in for the month. Great memories.

Oops, I also forgot my other favorite of the Marvel Universe, the mysterious Dr. Strange, Sorceror Supreme, with his cloak of levitation. The Dread Dormammu, Baron Mordo (what a loser), and Nightmare were some of his main enemies..

In the name of the eternal Vishanti, by the hoary hosts of Hoggoth, by the omnipotent Oshtur, by the all-seeing Eye of Agomotto, and the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak, and of course, who could forget the Wand of Watoomb, the Seven Rings of Raggador, and the Vapors of Valtorr?

And who could forget the most empathetic and enigmatic superhero of all, the Silver Surfer, galactic herald to the world devouring Galactus. Later, he tangled with Ego, the living Planet, the Living Tribunal, the Watcher, Infinity, and other galactic scale Uber beings, who most of us could not even comprehend.

Warlock was also a favorite. He was the enemy of Thanos, the self-styled Mad God, who worshiped Death herself, and wielded the Infinity Gems.

And Jack “King” Kirby was the greatest comic artist of all time. He and Stan Lee were reason Marvel happened.

I still have the Spidey vs. Superman. And I think a lot of people took that drawing test but I’ll be none drew the infamous Wonky!

Hey Homey,I was a big”SPIDEY”fan and “The Hulk”…Hey Z do you remember the really big comic books,I had the issue Spidey vs Superman..I know the graphics are better now,but I’ll take my old 25c.comics anyday..And I took that drawing test(turtle)I even had a rep.from the school come to the house…

I used to love a really esoteric character by the name of Adam Warlock. He was first penciled by the legendary Gil Kane, and then the great Jim Starlin.

Definitely was a Marvel fan more than DC. Marvel was much cooler. Especially Spidey. Thwip-p-p-p-p-p!!!!!
